Default Bye Bye ABS Unit

So me and Teg92 are finally doing my abs removal this morning. Hopefully it should take us 2-3 hours. Wish us luck! :chuckles:

sometimes they want to lose more weight or sometimes it's because they want to control the brakes and lose the ABS system for control purposes.

so heres how it went down, me and teg92 got everything out and connected in about 3 hours everything went pretty smooth till we realized we put to gaskets between the mastercylinder and booster. all in all went pretty good though. still need to bleed the lines.

i used a RS Booster, RS Master Cylinder, Oem RS brake lines, Oem RS Proportioning valve, everything is brand new too thanks teg92 for the help and carta79 for bringing over the bud lights :chuckles:

sorry for the double post but heres the reasoning behind pulling out the abs.
1. the previous owner installed axles made for a non abs b series car so it didn't have the abs nut on it making the abs light go on.
2. when i installed my omni rear lower control arms there was no bolt spot for the abs lines so i was forced to zip tie them and later on i decided to just cut them out.
3. yes im a weight whore and NA for life kindda person. The 28lbs and clean engine bay was the main reason, im not gonna lie about that :chuckles:

28 lbs? Damn, I didn't realize it was so heavy. That weighs as much as an A/C system.
