my 94 Teg LS is running a little rough. It does not seem to have the same pwr as it used to. I did a complete tune-up and changed the distirbutor, did not help. Had synthetic oil put in when oil change was done, did not help. It seems to hesitate when I accelerate. Any suggestions, what this might be?

 

went through the same problem, seemed as if i needed to press the gas pedal a lil harder than usual, did a complete tune up, and i mean complete, wires,rotors,o2 sensor,plugs, oil change, even a new battery and that solved the problem, also if you have an dirty air filter, get it changed, it might be the cause or could be something elec.....

 

id say check 02 sensor, plugs n wires like already mentioned

 

I did a complete tune-up wires, cap & rotor, distirbutir and even changed the fuel injectors. It still does it, had them do a diagonostic checkup and they said the O2 sensor is ok. The Mechanic said it might be the Valves. I dont think he knows Acura's that well.

 

What do your compression/leakdown numbers look like?

Your problem could be a number of things and it's tough to pinpoint the problem without a check engine light.

It's possible that you need a rebuild not a tune up. We're talking about a twelve year old car here.

 

Check your grounds also, mine was doing that and it slowly was getting worse and worse, changed a bunch of stuff to no avail., finally decided to change the grounds, problem went away.

The grounds we're badly corroded though, so you should be able to visually inspect yours.

how many miles on it? Check the PCV Valve and possibly the plugs
