Intermittant ABS light getting worse.....
Hello people of Honda Acura dot net.
Been reading the forums for quite a while and it is a great place.
Anyways my first thread is about a good car with an ABS light problem.
Intermittantly I can get the ABS light while cruising or just letting the clutch out. Sometimes it will reset itself while driving other times I have to cycle the key to get it to reset.
I know these cars are prone to ABS problems but everything seems to work fine on this one. Just get the light sometimes. It gets really bad when the AC is on. Also seems like when the electric fans come on it can trip the ABS light.
Also to add more wierdness to this problem alot of times when the ABS light comes on the stereo shuts off but will power back up a few seconds later.
Any ideas you guys could help me out with would be appreciated.
Part of me just wants to rip the system out completely and be done with it.

I just assumed that since the light was not stuck on that there would be no codes.
If someone could point me in the right direction on that I will check them.
Also to add,
The pump runs and pressurizes when I start the car and seems normal. Every once in a while the light will come on while driving and I can hear the pump again but it shuts off.
The resivoir is damn near completely full.

Check your pads, they may be worn. I had my 95 do the same thing and replacing pads was what it was. It could be a faulty sensor, but I'd start by physically looking at the pads first - inside pads, where the piston is pressing the pad to the caliper, not the outside pads, so you'll need to remove tires to look most likley.
Mine didn't have anything to do with the A/C, it would just come on randomly and when I was braking, until it eventually stayed on all the time and I took it in to have it looked at after I couldn't figure it out.
If you have the A/C on and it occurs, it could be that you have a leaking or malfunctioning master cylinder too.

Brakes are new as of december. Installed myself.
It will do it without the AC on often just seems to happen more with the AC on. It really is totally random though.
The more bizzare thing is that the radio power is disrupted when the ABS light comes on. The radio will power back up even if the ABS light stays on.

Anyone know if the reservoir can be purchased from Honda?? Mine is heat checked and doesn't look like it will be in one piece much longer... plus, my check valve apparrently isn't holding pressure since my light comes on in 45 seconds... every time I start the car.
