does any one by chance know how to turn on the vtec on the Apex AFC2 maybe its just my imagination but for some reason i dont feel the vtec kicking in, is it able to turn off by itself or was it cause my friend messed with it, any help would be appreciative...

any cel's? this is why you dont mess with a vafc or anything for that matter if you dont know how to use it.

You will feel vtec. I'm guessing it might be improperly wired. Go through the manual that came with it. Also, you shouldn't be messing with any of the settings. AFC's are meant to be tuned on a dyno, and for cars with more than just bolt ons.

yes GSR with an JDM ITR motor, what the hell you can feel VTEC, i got it fixed, i never mess with it since i tuned it, my friend did something, but my uncle figured it out, its working again, but now my check engine light comes on every time i hit 5600rpms (VTEC Setting) but goes away after i turn the car off then on again.... should i go get it checked out or what....

i take it you are using your stock p72 ECU?

at 5.6k it wants to open the secondaries, your jdm mani. doesnt have them.

yea i am, hey man you got any favs. ecu that will get the job done, how is the Skunk2, or any other ones out there, not very familiar when it comes to upgraded ECU makers....and will USDM Type-r parts fit on my tegi, or what?

the p72 ecu should be just fine, you just may want to find out how to stop it from doing that-- i'd assume you just have to short the outputs for the secondaries... but you better ask someone else first.
