Ecu....
I have said ti before on here...but i am not sure what kind of ecu i should get.... i would like to chip and tune my 98 integra but i am not sure what kind of ecu to get, i have intake, header, catback, and soon to add fuel pressure regulator.. but my question what ecu should i get that would be best...?Whats the difference between all of them... whats it all mean... hook me up with some links or something... thanks

You need to get an ECU that is compatible with your engine. V-tec, non-v-tec? Auto/manual?
I don't completely agree with the above. I think you will always gain something with tuning. Your engine will run better tuned. Not a huge deal though.
What do you need a fuel pressure regulator for? What other mods are you planning on doing?

this guy at a local shop said that a fuel pressure reg. would add roughly 10-15 hp to the wheels... then not sure about other mods... wanted to do ls/vtec but cant find a head at a decent cost... right now the cel is on cause of my cat and i was just wanted to tune it so that way it wouldnt be on.
If your only mods are an intake/header/catback then a fuel pressure regulator will do absolutely nothing. Your stock system is not lacking in any way for your setup. That guy was full of crap.
A tune will not fix your cel. You might need a new cat.
You can buy 02 simulators you can put on so your car thinks you have a cat. That would solve your problems before a chipped ECU would.
