Agreed. As long as the car hasn't overheated and the head was properly removed, there's no reason for the head to be warped or out of spec.

well I forgot to mention that it did overheat. My wife drove the car up a mountain, I was sleeping and woke up to smoke comming under the hood. She been driving half way up the mountain with the engine overheated.
Then get it resurfaced.
