wat should the compression be on a 92 gs motor
i recently bought a motor for my car due to a thrown rod bearing in the old one i got the somewat newer one from a junk yard and em wonderin about compression im readin 50 on 1 75 on 2,3,4 but that sounds low if u know jst drop a line thanks for any help peace

well it could just be your instruments that suck, but those numbers sound terribly low.
other than that there is a big variance from 1 to 2,3 and 4. even if your tools suck that might indicate you have a compression leak in cylinder 1.
if your compression tester is in workign order i'd have to imagine that the engine is pretty shot and that you'd most likely be better off going the b20 route... there are another 2 threads about it going on as we speak.
