im interested in putting a Vtec head in my GS integra, which would make it a GSR supposedly. does anyone know where i can purchase them and how much would they cost?

you say your car is deceased? whats the condition like on the head?

you can put any vtec head on it. and it wont make it a gsr. it will be a ls/vtec.

so in a sense i would have a gs/vtec, ok no one really answered my question on where i can purchase them and how much that they would cost.

i thought that different machine shops make different degree's of heads like better performance, i could be wrong. how many hp would i get for a vtec head? 20-30?

no. it would not be a gs/vtec, it would be an ls/vtec. you can find the heads at junkyards, people that are selling their old ones, etc. they will be expensive. the b18c1 and c5 will be the most expensive. have you researched this subject much? cause it sounds like you're thinking of just bolting a vtec head right up to your block and there's soooooooooooooo much more that goes into it than just the head.

dude GS/RS/LS/SE all have the same engine, as far as GEN3 tegs....therefore it's always called an LS/VTEC

you might want to do a little more searching on this trustworthy forum, because this has been discussed before

plus you never mentioned what year your car is either
