New bolts? Crap I've got the Skunk2 IM and the Hondata gasket. I really don't want to put new bolts on. (they aren't installed yet)

rugsr, u are not going to notice that big of a temp difference it is very minimal, and that is really weried cause mine dosen't get that hot, and i don't believe schmoo's gets that hot that "burns the skin off"

It isn't just the direct heat transfer between the head and manifold, but the ambient heat under the hood heating it up.

It may prevent a little heatsoak during an endurance race, but you will not notice any change in power on a daily driver.

 

you think mabye my timing is off...making it heat up so badly?

Power wise not sure BUT the kid with the vette who lives and works at the dyno/performance shop, saw my car and also talked with the kid that dynoed it. They said above 300, around 340ish. BUT they could be pulling my leg.
All i no is the car pulls and next thing i know im way speeding so its hard going slow. From a 60 roll, the car is nuts. Breaks them loose in 3rd from 50-60mph. Only car that I lost to so far was the vette. i wanna dyno it like NOW THOUGH!
BTW brake boosting is nuts, but real bad for the pads
