Default fully adjustable coilovers....................

Which coilover system do you prefer and why? I don't want any bullsh#$%@ sleeve system, and I don't want this 1500.00 system either. I'm not going to drift and I'm not autocrossing. I just want A fully adjustable that is sensible in price and does a great job too. Maybe Skunk 2, or Tein basics, Or Eibach? Anyone?

GC/Koni Yellow is what I have. For the money, it is probably the best setup you can buy because the shocks are infinitely adjustable and the spring rate can be customized.

Just curious, but how do you drift a FWD car? :eh:

Yes, GC are sleeved with an adapter for Koni Yellows. Its a clean setup, but its not a welded one piece. If you want a single piece, you can look into omnipower too

yeah, in the GC/Koni Yellow setup, the GCs that are referred to are sleeves.

nowadays, you can get a set of KSport full coilovers (they come fully assembled and all) for around 600-650, and you can adjust everything. I've had them on my sedan since around Christmas time and they're simply amazing...I have no complaints at all.

there are a bunch of ppl on the TI.net forums who participated in a group buy on them, aside from several other people who already have them

PM me if you have specific questions about these coilovers, i'd be glad to answer them.

I hear what you're saying, for the longest time I was dead set on getting a full coilover system because I wanted a clean sytem all from one manufacturer that would be reliable. but the more research I did the more i found that the koni GC system is really the way to go in terms of performance for the money. Yeah some of the really high-end coilover sytems are the best, but you have to pay at least double to get anything better than the koni/GC setup. I got mine with custom rates for under $800 shipped.

While color scheme of the whole thing once its assembled is a little :eh: It is pretty simple and very sturdy, there is absolutely no creaks, rattles or anything. You may not be aware of this, but GC only makes the sleeve, all of their springs are Eibach race springs which you can custom order in increments of 20lbs/in(?) and any length. That was really what did it for me because with that you know you are getting a good quality spring and for 55$ a set (i think) you can order different strength springs for the front or back to suit your taste/needs.

Tein SS are okay, but for the money you can get the GC/Koni Yellow setup (more proven and solid) or KSports (much more adjustable) and have a good bit of money left over.

The only reason I see for the Teins would be the name...h:

I agree. The teins do look nice though. I 'm either gonna go with the teins or the ksport, but I can't make ky mind up yet. I've only recently heard about the ksports, but they look fu****king awesome.I never thought you could get that much adjustability for 800.00 shipped to my door.!

you might be able to find it cheaper than even that man, look around.

I'll also ask my buddy that I ordered my KSports from...see how much he's asking.
