Default I need a new motor....

Ok heres the deal, yesterday when I started up car up it started making this rattling noise coming from the head. My exhaust cam and intake cams are practically shot. So, instead of buying a head or rebuilding my existing one I'm going to just throw a new motor in there because this one has about 175,xxx on it and is also burning coolant.
I just need some websites that sell B18Bs. All the sites that I know of are www.hmotorsonline.com, www.passwordjdm.com, www.jdmshit.com, and www.inlinefour.com. Anyone have anymore that sell LS motors. Just let me know, thanks!

P.S. How are the B20Bs? passwordjdm is selling them for 550. Are the mounts any different? Or is it not even worth considering?

www.speed-garage.com

I would call too. I picked up a zc once from this guy for 500 and a b16a for 850 w/ECU. He was open to negotiate as well. I think I may have talked him down a 100 bucks or so.

How do you know the cams are shot? I'd be willing to bet it's not the cams.

If your cams were "shot", your car wouldn't move an inch.

those b20's would all be setup for obd-II, your best bet would be to find a obd-I GSR or LS motor

hmotors is by far the best in quality from what i've encountered from the many horor stories to the people who are really really satisfied

^^thats all just incase you do need a new motor.

obd II --> obd I isn't that big a deal is it? the b20 would be great for your car. more power, still runs on regular, will bolt right up to your ls tranny.

Set up for OBD2? All you would have to do is reuse your intake manifold/tb, distributor, ecu, and engine harness. Bolts right in, simple swap. Learn your shit before you try and kick knowledge.

I too doubt your cams are "shot." Maybe a cracked rocker arm or a damaged valve spring, but anything wrong with the cams and your engine would not work.

B20Z or B18B are both decent choices.

I'd do an H22 over either of those.

I'm talking about the wear on the lobes. They're starting to get a little round.

Edit: and my valves are really noisey.
