Default Question about Compression Test

I just did a compression test on my 99 LS, with 81,xxx miles and only CAI, and I got 200 across all four cylinders. I'm just wondering if this is noraml or if it sounds weird to anyone. Here's a picture of one of the spark plugs... does it look ok?

You may need to replace your plugs... I don't think that looks good at all, but then again I could be wrong

i think 200 should be the MAX... for LS, and 275 MAX for GSR..

Your plugs are deffinatly worn out. The edges on the center electrode should be sharp, not rounded off like they are in the photo.
Compression numbers sound great. Too much compression won't hurt you. When you start seeing low compression (ie 125 or less) or the numbers from each cylinder differ by about 10% from each other then you get worried.

Those are great numbers. A stock mildly worn GSR will show those numbers. Mine just had the rings replaced at it is a solid 250 psi across the board.

The plugs, on the other hand, need to be replaced. They are worn, but you are getting a decent burn in those combustion chambers.
