is it just me or could that thing maybe be somewhere behind the console like under the center of the dash or something?

Yep thats what it looks like to me. It says it has some kind of cosmetic cover on it too.

car got love-tapped just hard enough to blow both the bags (and break my axle, bend my lower control arm, and maul my front bumper/ driverside fender). so im putting her back together.

ya know what man, you may just have a valid point. see what i dont understand is why the guy i bought this shit from sent me another one.... the only reason i can think of is that maybe they need to be replaced every time the airbag deploys...???? i dont see why they would need to be replaced but i dunno. does anybody know?

im really hoping that i dont have to put this new one in because it does not look like fun getting under there.
