Default Short Shifter Question

So I know that the Integra Transmission is one of the smoothest transmissions in the world!!!! But.......does anyone have a short shifter??

I was looking at the B&M short shifters. They have a straight and a "factory bend" shifter available. Whats the major difference in feel??

Any thoughts on these would be great. I don't even know if its worth it. I love my shifter the way it is. I have driven many stick shifts and this is by far still the best.

The difference between the 2 types is, in my experience, pretty noticable.

The straight shifter will actually move the shift knob forward an inch or 2. If you like hitting your knuckles on your radio buttons then go for it.

The factory bend shifter will keep the knob in the same place but it would be shorter about an inch.

If you like the stock setup then stay stock, simple as that. I had a skunk2 short shifter in the past and I could easily grind second and third by shifting a little to fast. It's not worth the hassle in my honest opinion. I've read reviews on the B&M short shifter and many people have said that it rattles/vibrates no matter how you torque it down. The noise is compared to buzzing bees.

If you have your heart set on getting a aftermarket shifter, get a dual bend or get nothing at all.

Or you can purchase this to supplement the short shifter. This increased dicplacement master cylinder gives the pedel less moving time so the clutch engages earlier.

PLUS i dont have to move my hand to switch the radio stations...just extend the finger hah

I have an edelbrock ss. Nice, strong, fits and sits well when I shift. No complaints.
