ls integra right? i would replace that hose stat. if that prevents coolant from flowing...boom. its a quick fix so do it. as for the plug being "glued in". its sealent so oil doesnt comeout. its clamped down by them 2 bolts.
BUT thats a lot of sealent. let the motor run to regular temp and keep an eye on that plug.give it some gas too

golden eagle sells those "plugs"...its called cam seal plug. i got mine from them and it does wonders. you can actually see the oil stains on the block under that old plug. so get one of these...colors http://www.accountwizard.com/clients...lass=Cam+Seals
