Thanks. I have never replaced the thermostat.

I suggest you replace that before you replace the radiator. You may find that your car runs cooler as a result of a new thermostat. I say you go with a new Honda thermostat.

Vpuppy. Thanks. I will try it. I noticed that it ran hotter after I changed the radiator years ago so I assumed it was that. The thermosat will save some money as compared to changing the radiator.
Thanks, Kevin |
I bet I can get a honda thermostat cheaper than an acura. I wonder if a civic thermostat will fit?

Does the koyo cool as good as the OEM? My temp. guage use to sit at 1/4 of the way from the left and now it is sitting 1/3 of the way from the left with a cheap radiator. I guess it is running 15 - 20 degrees hotter? So I want to change it when I change the water pump. Kevin |

Ya, if your on the original one, you should replace it. Visit this web site and do a parts search for your car and you can get the part number for the thermostat http://www.acuraparts247.com/
Then take that number to Honda, and you should be able to get one. I am pretty sure a civic SI thermostat is the same thing. |
Vpuppy,
Awesome. Thanks !!! Kevin |

For your reference, try this site also if you ever need it: http://www.acuraoemparts.com/delray/jsp/home.jsp for acura parts. Then you could use this site: http://www.collegehillshondaparts.com/ to cross reference part numbers.
