Default tire wear

on my front two tires the inner part of the tire is worn down pretty good, Is it possible to take the tires off the rims and put on the opposite sides so that the warn part is on the outside until I can afford to replace my struts, put in camber kit and pay for an alignment?

How bad is the wear?

If you can see the wires and fibers of the inner tread, then the tires must be replaced. A blowout at speed can lead to loss of control and a potentially catastrophic crash.

Go and get an alignment, your toe might be off along with your camber.

You can have the tires flipped so long as they are not directional. Some tires are designed to only travel in one direction due to tread design and functionability. However this is not a good idea as you are now placing a weaker portion of you tire to the outside which can cause it to roll off the rim during a turn if there is not enough meat on the tire to actually count as a tire. That and your traction stability will be significantly decreased.

most shops only charge $50 for an alignment. that should take care of irregular tire wear, unless your car is dumped 3 inches

An alignment is going to do very little good for this guy if he needs struts & a camber kit. Forgot to ask if the car is lowered? Is it? Without an alignment kit, if one is needed the degree of the alignment will be limited and most shops will tell you that before they even place it on the rack. Then you say, but I have a camber kit installed!!! Then they are like, oh ok...nevermind. If money is tight try to finance your parts though www.sportcompactonly.com don't get carried away though.
