my driver side axle is not going into the intermediate shaft. i got part of it in but then i just cant seem to push it any further. is it okay to torch it a bit so the metal expands?

torch what? If your axle is not going in it's probably either not lined up right, or there is something in the way.

Is it the driver side axle? Is there any chance that both the driver and passenher are not the same length? I would check again and make sure you have the right parts/numbers for your car. Should go right in.

well the boxes the came from RCrew where labelled R and L. so i figured "L" was the driver side and "R" is the passenger side. passenger side went in with ease.
