i agree with schmoo. do a full tune up, don't forget to change the spark plugs and wires on the car. also you might what to check out the distributor and make sure its in good working order.

Curious, have you messed with the timing belt or distributor rotor at all? It could possibly be a timing problem.

as far as a tuneup, ive done spark plugs not the wires because the wires look pretty new already, ive flushed the radiator and transmission, i have not done the cap, rotor, or timing belt yet. i will change the spark plugs and wires now, but what brand of wires and plugs would you guys suggest?? ive got ngk spark plugs on there now.

and i also have not messed with the timing or distributor rotor at all.

Well, depending on what other kinds of mods you plan on doing to your car, the type of wires really won't make too much of a difference. I would get your timing checked though, and make sure all your wires are in the right place, etc.

ok im going to replace the wires and plugs and distributor cap and rotor and then get the timing checked thanks alot guys!!!
