Thank you, my GSR, and security
yeah defiantly go with the TL or a BMW, they wont dissapoint.
:edit:
and those automatic/manual combos are annoying to work, they arent involved enough to get you to shift correctly... in my experience they are just annoying.

I'm afraid I'd still try to put my left foot onto a pedal that isn't there. I've done that a few times in other's auto transmission cars and that kind of jars the leg a bit.

I really didn't think I'd want one of those sport-shifters or whatever they are called ... now I know for sure. (I didn't take much to push over me edge.) I think they would annoy me too. I've driven nothing but a stick since I was 16.

If they want it, sure they'll take it. However, having layers of security will slow down the 'take it' process. They may take the some parts as a result of the thief's frustration but the car would still be there.
tateamator - I'm glad that you love your gsr so much! I love the way my gsr sedan handles to the point of autocrossing it in the summers. The only car that I feel really comfortable parking in Boston at night is my old 89 BMW 325ix sedan. Thieves suck!

But people are still going to know its a GSR.
-The Alloys wheels. (96 GSR Snowflakes)
-Interior (Maybe Black leather)
-Cluster (8k Redline)
-VIN# (DC2)
I was also thinking about taking mine off, but then decided not to.

You right there are bowing down to the theives...
I just invested over $400 in my alarm system.

I've got hidden start switches, kill switches, alarm, back-up sirens, garage..ect.
My alarm is behind my cluster. One siren is in the fender and the other is in the passenger door. There's a battery backup. The hood cable has been relocated to run inside the engine bay. The alarm is a DEI 2 way paging. It has tilt, motion, and glass breakage sensors. The door key cylinders are disconnected. Anything else you want to know? Come and get it. It's theft proof.
