it's basically just an alarm... it does have a pager, remote start option, starter kill option, short run mode.... so there are heavy advantages to it. im not sure i believe compustar will physically track the car, and also you'd be notified by a REAL person if your car is stolen... so yeah compustar is better .... but thats AFTER your car is stolen... not during, or doing anything to prevent it

DEI has a range of gps ad ons that will let you track your car
their alarms also have turbo timers.

You can take off the Badge if you want.
But people are still going to know its a GSR.

-The Alloys wheels. (96 GSR Snowflakes)
-Interior (Maybe Black leather)
-Cluster (8k Redline)
-VIN# (DC2)

I was also thinking about taking mine off, but then decided not to.

I also dont like that saying, "If they want it, they'll take it"
You right there are bowing down to the theives...
I just invested over $400 in my alarm system.
Just take all measures, layers upon layers of security...
I've got hidden start switches, kill switches, alarm, back-up sirens, garage..ect.

My alarm is behind my cluster. One siren is in the fender and the other is in the passenger door. There's a battery backup. The hood cable has been relocated to run inside the engine bay. The alarm is a DEI 2 way paging. It has tilt, motion, and glass breakage sensors. The door key cylinders are disconnected. Anything else you want to know? Come and get it. It's theft proof.
