Ok thats fine then, I know to take advice when its overwhelmingly one sided...lol

I just hope it doesnt cost an arm and a leg to have the Del Sol seats match my interior.

I'm sorry...when you say "it", do you mean modifying the seat frame? :eh:

I thought I stated my position clearly. Regardless of whether modifying the frame is possible or not, I would not do it due to safety concerns. If a weld joint were to fail, the seat could come off the frame rails in a crash. The consquences would be gruesome. :ugh:

...I'd probably be fine with this if I can have the seats stay they color they are.
Matching the original seat color and texture shouldn't be a problem at all. The design of the Del Sol seats are substantially different than the OEM Integra seats ... so for appearance purposes, I would replace both front seats at the same time.

Right now my seats are gray leather. So it doesnt really matter what kind of seats they are so long as they are leather and match the interior, be it Del Sol or racing.

What do you guys think of these:

Going by what it says I think the seat cushion is 5" up from the floor, not sure what the stock ones are.

The dimensions are sketchy and so is the webpage.
They look like pathetic knock-off of the Sparco Milano seat.
The seats aren't FIA certified, so who knows how they'll perform in a crash.

Call me a pessimist, but I'd sooner trust my life to a seatbelt made from razor wire.

I highly doubt you can modify the stock rails at all to lower the seat...everything is pretty compact as it is.

I think you might be able to get out an inch or so if you had a shop rebuild the brackets on the bottom. like these guys said you should be careful about doing something like that, but if you go through a shop accustomed to building saftey equipment for cars like roll cages they should know how to do it correctly. I wouldn't start going at it with the MIG in the basement...
