i dont think your getting it yes you could modify the brackets. but then it becomes to unsafe they are that way for a reason. if you are really that bothered by it you can just have new seats made like said before and the will take the spot of oem seats. or you can have del sol seats matched up. but anything other then that would be considered unsafe and is not recomended.
