as far as gasket sealer goes...is it all the same? just pick up something at pep boys? and does it go on both sides of the gasket or just one side?

at each of the bends in the seal... the straight it's not so much of a deal...

most guys will swear by hondabond, but IMO it all works the same
(but i still use hondabond) lol

The grey silicone sealant they sell at autozone is the same thing as Hondabond, but only $4 as opposed to $20.

Werd. I have done lots of seals with this stuff and it has not failed. Make sure you torque the oil pan nuts and bolts down correctly. They snap easy!!!
