Not sure why this didn'y show up on my post???
I have a 90 Integra that had an old EAI air cylinder set up. Was looking for ideas on whether to update to air struts or switch back to struts and springs? Any ideas, brand names, or help would be great.
thanks

i'd only suggest air struts if you are used to going over speedbumps and are lowering for the look...

otherqise use springs and struts as they provide a better comfort and better performance

If it is performance i strongly vote against it, lots of body roll.

Thanks for the info.
The car already had the air cylinders in it and there was NO suspension movement at all. I figured since everything else was in place the air struts would give some suspension movement and hook right up to what is already on the car.
I can get new Tokico luminas for under $100, they have the adjustable ride control. What springs should I use? Does anyone make a progressive rate spring?
This site rocks
thanks

only way i would get air ride is if i could rig it up to the car alarm and have it drop all the way to the ground when the alarm is armed and rise back up when its unarmed, that would be so cool....

The new control actually raises back up to your preset ride height when the key is turned on and has a remote control to work it as well. We put one of these on a big old 64 Buick Riviera last summer, and it is pretty slick.
Anyone have any experience with the Intrax progressive rate springs?
