A rule of thumb in regards to nitrous.......the amount of shot you run should never be more than half of the total flywheel horsepower of your car.......anything more will require some REALLY good tuning if you want to keep your engine long.

I loved the bottle:
94 HB 94 B18B1 and GSR tranny, ZEX 65 shot, VERY fast! I loved the first time at 600 psi, then brought it up to 950 psi, NO COMPARISON, HUGE DIFFERENCE...best time was early November leaving work, it was about 60 degrees outside...ho memories of N2O and my old HB...I think I'm going to cry ;(

NX is wet single fogger, which risks puddling fuel into one cylinder, igniting that fuel and causing an intake backfire. NOS and Zex are pretty equal as far as dry kits go, except for the fact that Zex regulates the fuel pressure according to bottle pressure, so that the a/f mixture is always good...don't run too lean. This is for basic kits as you said, for 75 shot and lower.

well reading through this and a few other forums got me thinkin so i bought a zex kit (even the wife agreed to it) now i just gotta wait till i get home from kosovo (48 hrs from now) to install it on my 91 ls. i got the kit, bottle opener, and pressure guage and a set of colder plugs.....you guys got anymore suggestions. i know i gotta retard my timing (its at 18 degrees now), and keep the pressure between 900-1100 but is there anything else i should know.
