which is it says Mr Pepboy
ok so i go into Pepboys today to buy the belts for the PS and Alt. I tell him 95 integra GSR, he then says well is that VTEC or DOHC........im like whaaaaa
He like pick one kid, do you have DOHC or do you have VTEC. IM LIKE BOTH h:
he then says NO i have to pick one, so im like and say DOHC. come to think of it i probably should have said VTEC right. because the LS tegs were DOHC too, right? the GSR is different in some ways but primairly VTEC......correct:nervous:

yes, on the screen it will say "1.8 dohc"
or "1.8 vtec"
pick the vtec choice (granted you have a b18c1/c5). Although i don't know if there's a difference in belts.

Apathy Kills
The PepBoys clerk was a blithering idiot.
Both the B18B1 and B18C1 motors are DOHC. :squint:
My bet is he gave you a set of belts for an LS motor. :a:
Take them back, get the proper belts for a B18C1 motor.
And if you feel like it, smack him 'round a bit.

LEVEL UP
Autozone is the same way. They have 2 options that come up on their computers: 1.8 DOHC and 1.8 DOHC VTEC...should have been pretty obvious which was the correct choice from that.

both places uses activant triad for their cataloging and parts lookup and when u select the integra from the menu and go to engine choices it will give you 1.8 DOHC as one option and the other is 1.8 VTEC. a inexperieced counterman would assume that you would have one or the other and not realize that the gsr is automatically vtec and dohc in the same boat. easy enough mistake for a guy who deals with 100's of cars a day
