Default Suspension

Im getting a few bucks and want to do my suspension. My car is a 94 gsr, whos a good company to go with, want to be able to lower it a few inches, it maybe adjustable il have 600 bucks to work with. My whole suspension is stock and prolly all worn out, what are you guys driving on maybe that will help me. Thanks

Tein has a grreat setup but ur gonna need more around 1000 for a good coil over setup.

Tein Basics.. their not that expensive.

the tein basics are 750 right? does it come with everything that i would need, anything else that i would have to get to go with them or is that the whole kit, i can probably afford these but are there any others that you would prefer and maybe links to them?

The MSRP is $750, but you can find them much cheaper. You may need a camber kit as well depending on how low you decide to drop it.

Personally, I would recommend a set of Koni Yellows and a nice set of springs over the Basic kit.

H&R Sport with KYB AGX adjustable shocks. The Tein basics are good if you won't use or don't need adjustable shocks.

You can also get Koni Yellows and Ground Contorls for around 850, which would put all the combo's mentioned in this thread to shame.

However most of these setups mentioned in this thread are probably overkill for a car that will be driven on the street only. I would like into some good shocks (Koni Reds, AGX's, Tockico Illumina's) and some lowerings springs, Eibach is my prefernce but H&R makes some good kits alos as dubcac mentioned.

Most lowering springs are desinged to give you car good handeling and good ride, and I would recomend this to most people, unless they are going to be auto-xing or hpde'ing a lot.

i think i might be going with the tein basics, the site says that they are adjustable. Would a skunk2 camber kit work with these? we have a road course hear also that i might try to run i run once in a while.

why is it not good to have lowering springs for auto-x?

if your looking at the tein basics, take a look at the Skunk 2 coilovers. there not too much and are adjustable.
