Yes, that's right. The evo2 would be better suited for a turbo, compared to the rsr. Evo2 isn't a chambered muffler and has bigger piping. Now that I have the turbo and exhaust installed, those that said the evo2 would be quiet with the turbo are absolutely correct. The setup came out perfect. I have a low, mellow exhaust note that is very far from being obnoxious or ricey sounding.

is the evo obnoxious w/o turbo? i dont plan on turboing any time in the near future.
