Hey guys having a problem if anyone have any ideas what the problem is its much appreciated.

Here is the problem...
When I attempt to start my car theres a winding sound. Theres no spark so i changed spark plugs and my distributor. Same thing no spark no combustion I have a funny feeling that the pinion is stuck in my starter... Can't figure this out anyone have any clue? Thanks!!!

 

So when you go to turn the engine over, does it crank at all? or just a whining noise?

 

if the car dont turn over and u have winding sound its the starter.

 

Just a whinning sound indicates that the starter is spinning but the bindex isnt flying out to meat up with the flywheel. The starter solinoid is most likely bad.
