but thats minimum...which would imply something is going wrong?

I dont think 175 is anything to worry about. If one or two cylinders were quite lower than the rest, you'd have something to worry about...or if you were 140 or below. I still think the test should be redone with the car warmed up, and throttle plate open.

yea if the numbers are above the minimum and close together then i wouldnt worry at all. your seem perfect.

are u sure? :reechy: was the engine heated up?

cuz honestly ur compression shouldnt be that low...my 90 teg has 208,3xx miles on it and is putting out 175psi all around (180max for the LS)

lol yes i know for a fact it is a jdm b18c, but anyways i bought the car wiith the swap.

EDIT: the engine was heated up.

do a wet compression test and see if it is either ur rings or valves

unless all his rings/valves are wearing or having problems 100% equally it wouldn't be something like that... it seems like it's fine... not a super high cr, if it was something like your rings or valves... you would have numbers that were uneven if it was 175 + ~1 or 2 then it's alright

mine was 175-180 at wot, partially warmed up. I'd say your fine!
