It will be loud as hell. If you want to piss off your neighbors and all the cops in your city, an open dumptube would be the way to do it.

loud or REEEEEEEALLY LOUD. cops here re so gay when it comes to exhaust. i wonder if theres a way i can do both. kinda like have a dump tube going straight down but if i want connect it with a nother iece to the down pipe. like have a spout on the down pipe that would welcome the dump tube when need and when not have it blocked off

Just have the dump tube welded back into the downpipe 18" away from the exhaust housing. If you want to have open downpipe on command, look into an e-dump.

is there a BIG difference here
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/3-INL...QQcmdZViewItem
http://www.kteller.com/store/shopping_cart.php
i know one is a ebay muffler and one is a real one but my OL Debay muffler sounded awesome. nice deep tone. IS there/do you think thereis a difference in performance? I dont feel like spending 234 not shipped on a muff but if the ebay one will "slow" me down or burn up its not worth it. This is my 1st turboed car and i have no idea on how hot theres get.

i started buying some 3" parts and what not and then this guy who is currently building a 67 COBRA said its a bad idea to have 3" from the turbo back. he said there wont be enough back pressure for the turbo to work properly. is this true or should i keep buying 3" exhaust parts. next winter id like to build the bottom end so i can turn up the bost....but for now will 3" exhaust be bad ?
