ANYONE know what type of welder i need to weld my exhaust (mild steel)? Im getting all my bends and straights together and I came across a welder for $120, FLUX. wonder if this should do the job or not.

nah, i never put my hand near the exhaust side of a turbo BUT I HEAR they get real hot. someone told me with the integras hood not insulated it will ruin the paint. and will destroy a CF hood.........who knows
If you don't have a heatshield for the manifold, you should get some heat shielding for the underside of the hood. My hood suffered some paint damage when I removed my heatshield.

ok well after further review i decided to just go ahead and buy cat back piping and life will be a lot easier. id probably spend more time and money trying to do it myslef. anywho, i was thinking of this
http://www.kteller.com/store/product...roducts_id/912
now the cat and the muffler will fit since they are after and before the piping BUT theres no spot for a resinator. im sure i need one but what would i do cut the piping to the length i need? OR just not get one.
theres 2 different lengths here, does it matter:
http://www.kteller.com/store/index.php/cPath/23_110
they are at the bottom the 18" and 14" long 3" cats. thanks guys

The longer the resonator, the better it will muffle the sound. You will have to hack up the piping to have it welded on, though. I would strongly recommend one, since it will sound either a) loud as shit b) nasty and raspy or c) all of the above without one.

will either of the 2 give more or prevent HP? like 18" will make it quiter but will it take HP away? considering the 3"pipes+turbo+my heavy foot=im sureits gonna be very loud. i will probably go with the 18", since the cops here pull me over for just my ebay tin can

whats the difference here, besides the price and the fact that the more expensive flange has fillet angle on it

The longer one will take more HP, but you will want it. What are you doing about the wastegate dump?

I would go with the more expensive one. It looks much easier to weld the 3" piping onto.

I personally don't think that would sound very good. I'd imagine it would sound like two gorillas mating. I think you will like that sound, so go for it.
