Here's a better link to the CA-ARB Aftermarket Parts Database:

If it turns out that he can't throw down two or three thousand dollars at one time to go with a JRSC (or a turbo kit, despite the smog legality issues), then I agree with your plan.

The only things I'd skip are the pulleys and I'd keep the cam profile very mild (like the 620402 profile from Crower). Better to sacrifice a few horses and be able to keep your cams in for smog checks, I say. h:

And about sounding young... for 18 years of age, you've sounded quite mature.
then u can really smash out
....until you repeated that nonsense. :chuckles:

also to the poster (to keep it on topic), i suggest you choose whether you want to go all motor or naturally aspirated (N/A = no boost), either way will have you purchasing different parts, i'd suggest make up your mind...then start small...do little things first... if you choose turbo/supercharger...don't do anything to your car besides maitenance*sp?* (it will need it), and just save up your money...just about any engine part you put on there will have to be removed once the turbo goes on ... if you choose N/A, then i'd suggest just wat wicked geezer said ....
