that occurred to me shabacash, hence, the diagnostic. the other part of it is that i hate buying cars with ugly ass rims, ugly ass body kits, "interior goodies"... people do such stupid shit to cars, i don't want any part of it. my old accord even had the stock crappy tapedeck in it when i bought it, i consider that a good sign. it was owned by a little old lady. i still can't figure out why in the hell she bought a stick in the first place. that car served me very well. i bought it with 103k on it, spent the money on the 90k service, drove it for 3.5 years and 55k more miles, then sold it to my girl cheap. it still looks gorgeous, runs flawlessly, burns no oil and passes smog with flying colors. that is a great car. it's easily got another 160k left in it.

id look for an adult owned. if its a teen its been beat on pretty hard...trust me...im still going through that fase

o and also i wouldnt trust a carfax report, i got one done for fun on my car and my moms (both in reported accidents) and neither came up. the one for my car nearly totaled her and it still didnt show :eek5: granted it was almost 10years ago but still...everything should b on there

anyway, there is not enough info here to determine whether that is a good price. we at least need to know the year. however, i would be wary of it being modded.

yep. carfax is completely useless. doesn't tell you anything. people think they can use that INSTEAD of a diagnostic. fuck the carfax, do the diagnostic. i run em at work because i work at a dealer and i can do it for free. i would never pay the money to have it done on my own. i'd rather buy a tank of gas.
