To buy SE, or GS-R, or other???
Looking for used integra. Very few GS-R's available, all high mileage and expensive. Many more SE's available with much lower miles, and cheaper. I drive a lot, and am very hard on my car. Obviously i want the most power possible, but i'm hoping to keep it for a few years. Probably do only basic mods. What should i get?
GSR will always be more expensive and probably more abused. If you're looking for life out of your car, go for the ls, it probably has less chance of being abused in the past and will be cheaper. GSR would be nice though
I was actually looking for one about a month ago but i couldn't find one with low enough miles to satisfy me and my price range. But good luck, let us know how it turns out!

In the long run you'll be happier with the gsr; much "easier" to squeeze power out of it (and usually for cheaper too vs. LS/SE).
You can make a LS just as quick, but it'll require a little more planning and usually a bit more money (ex: bolt-on a turbocharger to a B18B and a B18C and the B18C will make more power right off the bat). For comparison sake I'm using a very simple example; there are plenty of LS guys on this board who have built turbo B18B/all-motor monsters that would tear many gsr's to pieces.
The suspension between the LS/GSR is pretty much on the same footing though, so if you're happy with having a nice-handling vehicle the LS will more than do. I think handling is the integra's strong point anyways.

I'd say get the GS-R. For one, you're only doing basic mods and to an LS that might get you even with a stock GS-R, which is pretty depressing. Second, since you put a lot of miles on your car, when you buy a car with high miles you won't feel as bad about putting a ton of miles on it. And it won't depreciate as much because of it either.
