i got remanufactured axles for my lude a couple of months back from autozone for $60 each, the core charge was $60, but you get that back when you give them your broken axles. i highly recommend doing this.

 

when mine were clicking...i went about 2k miles (prob more...) with them clicking. but it was a BIG risk...and my rents didnt wanna pay for it at the time but i dont recommend taking this risk. u could b driving down the road then all of a sudden not be able to move just cuz ur cv joint finally went out. and yes replacing the axles will fix this, but id say to do it ASAP. u dont wanna b driving then have to get ur car towed

 

This happened to me just a little while ago and it was just a lose lug nut.
