Which exhaust is louder, APexi WS or RS*R?

 

RS*R. The WS is pretty quiet... the RS*R exhaust is actually a little louder than the Apexi N1. Which is to say, pretty damn loud.

 

Arent there 2 versions for the RS*R... the old one being quiet and the newer ones much louder?

 

I don't think the old ones were all that 'quiet.'

 

qtiger i think u mite have mistaken it for the invidia striaght thru style rsr, the old school ones sound almost close to stock, i have one. it gets a lil more rumbly when your car is heavily modded. other wise it's a slightly deep tone, sometimes hard to tell that you have an exhaust at all.

 

yeah, I have the new-school RS*R N1, its definately louder than the N1, as I have heard both on my car. I think the Spoon N1 is the only one louder...BTW, if you want quite, get a Mugen, quiet as stock, and hp gains next to an N1 design.

I have the old school RS*R and according to the sound test it's quieter than stock at idle by one db and i don't quite remember the high rpm db level, but it never gets that loud. At higher RPM my intake is louder than my RS*R

 

that doesn't take much. at higher rpm my intake is louder than my racing medallion!
