Default Put on my Apexi WS today

Replaced the POS Dynomax, that replaced the Trust, that replaced the HKS.

I like it, very very quiet, honestly it sounds like stock to me.

It will take some time to get used to, when I got annoyed at a light I would rev the engine at the person in front of me blocking me from turning on red. They would hear the exhaust and move up thinking Im going to slam into them. Or when the idiots following me with thier brights on get caught at a light (since its illegal to shoot out thier headlights) I put it in neutral and at 3,500 rpms with a hollow cat the exhaust fumes are nausious. Whats great is they can hear me reving a little while theyre smelling my crap.

Anyways I like it, its going to take some time to get used to. They should come in black instead of the polished stainless look. You would expect them to be noisy as h*** just by the way it looks.

what HKS exhuast did you have? I'm most likely going to get WS, but HKS exhausts I hear have a nice tone and are very good quality. I like the sport exhaust which is comparable to the WS near as I can tell..

I had the only exhaust HKS made for the car in 1995. Not sure what system it was, but back then they didnt offer multiple models per car.

Thats funny. When I first got mine and unpacked it at the shop to install I didnt notice the little hole in the tip to let water drain.

Then when the guys positioned it and started welding while I was under the car adjusting the supports I saw the hole and got pissed, thinking they drilled a hole into it at the shop to hang it on display from a cheap peg board wall. :eh:   .... ohhhhh... h: It took me a few seconds to realize what it was for.
