17" Wheels on Integra

If you have 17s with tires that are the same overall diameter as 15 or 16s, it should have similar rotational mass if the 17s with tires weighs the same as the 16s with tires. Of course that means you have to find lightweight 17s. Also you should get better cornering with 17s because of the less flexing of the tires unless you buy same profile height tires on your 16s or 15s, but then your spedometer will be off.
I have 17x7 rims, and its got a slight drop (~1 inch) with Eibach Pro-Kits and I have absolutely no rubbing issues whatsoever. Not sure about more than an inch. You probably might have some small issues if you have good shocks to compliment the springs.

If you went with a proportional low pro tire, you wouldnt rub at all. If you wanted, you could get 18's in there without rubbing.
It all depends on the tire size. As long as the outside diameter is the same, it wont rub, or mess with your odometer.

actuallt i think 17 and 18 are a bit drastic as many here have stated already. They , to me, take away from the total sportyness and good look of the car, its all about the wheel also i fdo kno and respect that, i have upgraded my wheels before to 16's wiff 225 tires all around but then choose to put the factory wheels back on my 96 Integra Type r and just upgraded the tires to 215's. I was much happier altho the 16 werent really bad but i like the factory set better with upgraded tires.
17s with 40s. ruff ride but i like the look. i now have 45s on it to soften it up.
this is after the 2.5" lowering. it does rub when making turns with the wheel CRANKED all the way. but its not a bad rub. just dont go to low and youll be fine. DONT GET 18 IMO, to big!
