Give up on that P.O.S. LS/VTEC and go buy a horse.

Go research LS/Vtec swaps and how to do them, what goes wrong alot and that sort of stuff. You will know more about your car and then go down the list on what goes wrong and find out if any of them have any of the same symptoms your car has.

The only thing that would be a good replacement for cheaper than a GSR would be an LS motor.

Either save up for a GSR motor, or figure out what is wrong with your current motor.

This is a good example of why you shouldn't buy other people's projects.

Then you better have a solid solution. Either find a place that will fix it, or get your hands dirty and do it yourself.

To start, I would rip the head off and pull the pistons out and replace the rings. Then, I would retrace all the steps that he made for the LS/Vtec swap and make sure they are right. Then, pull the tranny off and figure out what is wrong with the clutch.

Since you are so limited in what you can do at this point, I would get a Helms manual, do a little research, and then start ripping stuff apart....or just deal with the problems.
