Bulbs are pretty important. h:

So essentially, you have a little less than half the kit.

I'm actually looking into an HID conversion because my passenger's headlight connector melted away and the junkyard wants $180 for a used headlight connector. I dunno, just an excuse to do an upgrade is what I'm getting at.

so um...maybe someone can educate me about retrofitting? I have no idea what that word means, and when i look up HID kits, they say "Retrofit all domestic & imported cars, SUVs & trucks. Simple & quick Plug & Play Installation " and stuff. Lol. Thanks.

$180 for a headlight connector?

You can find all the information you will ever need on the forums at http://www.hidplanet.com/main.html

A retrofit is just putting a HID projector into a halogen housing.

Did you check out the honda-tech DIY that I posted?

yea sure did! i was a little leary about them because i heard they are illegal, but the only thing i would really have to worry about i think is state inspection, and i already had that done on my car.

Yes, they are illegal.

If you are so worried about it, save your time and money and keep your halogens in there.

They look better and I can see further. It is a personal preference.

I like the blueish color that is not possible without losing a lot of light with Halogens.
