Well actually, neither of my fans kick on and my thermostat isn't working properly (temp gauge only reaches operating temp after sitting in traffic for a while. otherwise it goes back down to C). So would I be throwing this code for these reasons?

Replace your thermostat and find out...obviously you need to replace it.

Yeah, i know i know...I've just been putting it off because I live in an apartment so I don't really have a garage or anywhere to work on it, and plus the housing bolts are kinda stripped...that should be a fun project... I did get some craftsman set that is supposed to be bite down on stripped bolts so hopefully one of those will fit...we shall see.

those craftsman bolt out sets are one of the best tools invented. they take any stripped bolt out!
