throwing code for ECT sensor

Well actually, neither of my fans kick on and my thermostat isn't working properly (temp gauge only reaches operating temp after sitting in traffic for a while. otherwise it goes back down to C). So would I be throwing this code for these reasons?

Replace your thermostat and find out...obviously you need to replace it.

Yeah, i know i know...I've just been putting it off because I live in an apartment so I don't really have a garage or anywhere to work on it, and plus the housing bolts are kinda stripped...that should be a fun project...
I did get some craftsman set that is supposed to be bite down on stripped bolts so hopefully one of those will fit...we shall see.
