Rice or Nice?
vintegra... if you are worried about water but really like the look of the hood, I have heard of people plugging up the vents with metal plates and such. I do not know how you would secure them in place, but if you really want it done, you can figure something out. Centerforce...your car looks really nice and i like the look of the hood on your car.
Just for the record my hood fits perfect and has rain guards in place that work. I wash my car religiously once a week, pop the hood to let the water run off before I dry the car and the engine bay is as dry as Afghanistan in the middle of July.
alright thanks for the info everyone.. my situation is a fading hood, hot engine bay, fear of thieves cops and rice. i think im going to put the money under the hood and repaint the car later on, and build an extension to make my intake cold air for days when i need the speed.
thanks alot guys. and i thought that teg in the pic was real nice

Wrap the header/turbo manifold, install a heat shield, or coat the underside of the hood with reflective material. There is plenty you can do before resorting to an ugly hood, so that isn't a valid excuse, IMO.

1) I don't know about you but where I come from, "jokers" is not a derogatory term and shouldn't be taken as one.
2)People seem to enjoy this car:
3) What do you mean "if you dont agree with HAN". Shouldn't everyone on the site, including myself, be entitled to his/her own opinion. I think that that is the whole point of having the site and especially this thread, so that everyone can thrown in their own opinion and knowledge.
4) If your profile is correct, I am older than you, so I don't appreciate being called a kid.

Yeah seriously. The truth is out. I have a fugly hood. LOL. Oh well, I still love it. It's the only cosmetic upgrade I have ever considered. I like clean rides too and truly believe this hood goes with my car. You have to admit, there is some far worse shit out there. My hood barely scratches the surface at that. Thanks for the honesty, Peace...
