It could be either. The one under the hood is much easier to package and cheaper, though.

whats EGT mean. so were talking fuel pressure guage under the hood. and boost EGT and etc on pillar right?

EGT = Exhaust Gas Temperature
it allows measurement of engine rich/lean-ness

yea, but it's more accurate than an A/F Ratio gauge that isn't hooked up to a wideband O2 sensor.
