nice R..i'm kindy new to manuals..so why do you leave it in Reverse?

 

harder to push a car when you also gotta go against the engine and transmission. if its in neutral (or somewhat in first) there is less resistance.. you can just pick up the back end of the car (ebrake) and push it on to a trailor and presto! new stolen car. 2-3 people can easily lift up a honda's back end.

2 way pager car alarm + leave it in gear + careful where you park

 

ok so if its in gear the thief will stretch the window and put it in nuetral obviously

 

its just one more little thing they have to do, and thats what counts.. the longer the theif has to spend at the scene -- the more likely they are to get caught and less likely they are to steal it
