Nope.

Cant go lower than the spring. I would run the Tial 7.x spring, run the WG to your compressor. You'll see about 5.5PSI depending on your IC size. Then adjust up from there.

You can typically 2.5x the spring pressure and it should still hold. IE 7PSI to ~17.5.

I believe he was asking if he gets a 6psi spring, can he use a boost controller to adjust UP to 8-10. If that's your question, you are correct. Whatever your spring is, you CANNOT go lower, but you can always go higher. But 6psi will be your base for tuning or whatever.

EDIT* Sorry if im wrong about what your were asking Just sounded like what you were trying to ask

No you are right. And I answered what he asked. I also added in that he couldnt go lower. He asked if he needed a new spring, I answered nope, then elaborated about how the spring relates to desired pressure.

BTW you said to run the WG to the compressor......what ompressor is this. i always thought to just get a dump tube and oint it downward away from the motor......thanks guys

You wont need to retune your motor just by going up in boost. In most cases, tuning a car for FI is to set your air/fuel ratio correctly and get the MOST power out of your mods. As long as the motor is tuned FOR forced induction, you dont need to keep retuning everytime you mess w/ your boost controller.

You have to keep in mind that the extra boost will require extra fuel.

That said, make sure your injectors are large enough to flow enough fuel at that boost level without maxing out.

Exactly.

Not a good thing when your robbing your car of fuel because your injectors are maxed out.

well thats good to know! I picked up the 550cc percision injectors. BTW i hear you have to wire them specialy because of resistance or ohlms or something. its not just plug and play right?
