What are your power goals?
Are you installing it yourself?
What does your budget look like?

I would suggest doing some more research about how turbos work and what will be needed for your power goals. In terms of tuning, yes they need to be tuned because you are adding more air to the motor, thus you need more fuel. Search the yellow pages for performance shops with dynos that could tune it for you.

That has a pretty good ring to it.

Okay, the man-love in this thread is reaching toxic levels. :ugh:

Perhaps we can steer this barge back onto it's original tack. h:

I dont know, it sounds like you (GSSR) and Shmoo did all the research for us...is there anything you would do different on your setups?

Larger turbo, better manifold, internal work, etc.

There are limiting factors, however, that will prevent us from ripping the engine apart to strengthen internals and that always lingering nightmare, smog tests.

Working with what we have should be capable of at least 280 whp on stock internals with a wider exhaust/downpipe, headwork, and more boost, so the Greddy kit isn't as pathetic as most people make it out to be. I was one of those skeptical people, but I know that getting a larger turbo is out of the question, so I need to make the engine work better with what I have.
