Default Slanted exhaust.

I always see tags with slanted exhausts and always search about them but never find any info about it. Does anyone wanna give me some info about how they work and stuff?

It's just a matter of aesthetics. :eh:
There's no real functional difference between a "slanted" muffler and a conventional rear-exit exhaust. The only things that change are:

1) The number and amount of bends in the exhaust tubing.
2) The position of the exhaust "hangers" -- the brackets that hold the muffler and piping to the car.

IMO, those slanted exhausts just look ridiculous.

if you have custom piping, you can have a muffler shop slant your muffler for you. alot of people dont want to chop up there expensive cat-backs to slant theres, so they leave them be

get a muffler for how ever much, ebay for $40 shipped if u want to go that route, and a shop can install it for less then $100. my 91 integra 4d, i had all new piping with a new universal cat and a magnaflow muffler with the cost of my tips all cost me about $300. if i had brought just a muffler and the "slanted" it it would have cost the amount for the muffler and $60 to install, and this is from a very reputable place i should add.

I think slanted mufflers look silly, they only look decent on 240's imo
