Default Headlight Adjustment Question

Hi guys. I just replaced my four of my stock headlight bulbs (both low beam and both high beams) with the Sylvania Silverstar bulbs and I need help adjusting the direction that the headlight shoots. I see a level and I assume thats the indicator for what angle (up/down) the headlight shoots? I also see an adjustment thingy right next to the level that has "L" and "R" on it. I tried adjust ing this thing but my low beams seem unaffected by it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

In the owner's manual, they show how to use a large Phillips screwdriver to turn the adjustment bolts for both the vertical (up-down) and horizontal (left-right) adjustment.

The illustrations in the manual are some of the best I've seen on the topic.

Unfortunately, I don't have an Owner's Manual. Can you describe where the adjustment screws are at? If you can post the illustration here that would be awesome! Thanks.

I'm having this same issue, where I don't have a manual and am apparently kinda stupid, since I'm not seeing anything to adjust with a phillips.

I'ma search some more, and look for an answer, then i'll post back, but if anyone has a scanner right handy or is willing to snap a picture and circle the spot to turn, that'd be incredibly appreciated....

another note, are the levels supposed to be aimed right in the middle? because if they are, my lights are WAY off.

*edit*
That was quick, i need to open my eyes more often...
I totally looked @ the screw and said "nah, that can't be the one"
when i was out @ my car.... but

the level with the O in the middle is for adjusting left and right, since you adjusted that, you probably want to readjust it so the red line (i think) lined up with the O

the thing to adjust it up and down doesnt have a level, it'll be a little bit lower than the horizontal adjuster, and when you stick the screw driver down, it'll be at an angle, just look more closely, youll find it

i had those same headlights. Unfortunately i never had that problem. But if you look closely when you're driving at night, they form a star on the road. I thought that was pretty cool. They also burn out real fast which is bad
